Work with Friends

We love to hire friends and family members of our current employees! We begin hiring at the age of 14, and have a large team of students and working adults all looking to earn some extra cash!

Perks

Our employees enjoy free admission to Hersheypark with their employee ID card, in addition to being able to earn up to 12 complimentary tickets for friends and family throughout the year. Employee discounts are available on food and merchandise throughout the park as well as at Hershey’s Chocolate World.

Flexible Scheduling

Our schedules are done just 1 week in advance with shifts assigned based on the available days and times set by each employee. We use an online scheduling website and app which allows for employees to have quick access to their schedule anytime.

Hourly Rates

Our Team members in the prep role earn an hourly pay rate for their commitment to preparing quality products and providing excellent customer service to every guest. Hourly rates starting at $14.25/hour

 
 

Responsibilites

Employees in this position are responsible for making a variety of products for vendors to sell as well as fulfilling customer orders. Prep employees work both individually and as part of a group in a variety of stand locations.

Earn Commission

Our vendors earn a commission-based pay. While there is a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, each individual has the opportunity to hustle, work hard and make more money through increased sales.

Commission pay in the park is $6.25/hour plus 3% commission (4% on cotton candy) with a guaranteed minimum of $13/hour.

Commission rates for Giant Center & Stadium events are 15% commission (10% on Bottled Water) with no hourly base or guaranteed minimums.

Vendors who demonstrate a hard work ethic, responsibility, leadership skills and dedication to success have the opportunity to grow into runner positions as well as have the opporutnity to be considered for future company expansion and growth.

  2. Do I understand all the company policies and procedures?

Stand Managers

Holds the responsibilities of opening and/or closing a specific store location. Maintains a smooth operation and cleanliness of the location throughout the day. Thoroughly and properly trains other staff members. Assures that consistent, friendly and quality service and products are provided to Guests.

Runners

This position holds the responsibility of maintaining proper inventory, smooth operation and cleanliness of all cart and tree locations. This positions also holds the responsibility of dealing directly with managers to maintain stock and cleanliness of store locations outside of the stand managers role as needed. Keeps warehouse locations clean and organized. Thoroughly and properly trains any one who may need to assistance on any given day.
